Seal Release - Holly's Story
Last November, on a cold windy day a couple of people visiting the area came into the Seafari Shop and told us they had seen an abandoned seal pup along the coast, on one of the beaches. Tony and I went along to the reported area to find a lonely, small, white and fluffy grey seal pup.

Corryvreckan Wildlife Trips
A busy week for Seafari as as far as trips go. The Cabin RIB Celtic Voyager has been out everyday so far as we get back into the swing of things. Wildlife sightings have also been very good. Today,s trip saw a Golden Eagle,Common seals,Red deer and we also saw two White tailed Sea Eagles down at the nest site. Despite the chilly weather, passengers are nice and snug inside the cabin. Colonsay Trips
Sunday was a day trip to the beautiful Island Of Colansay for Seafari, with a private charter. The group had wanted to visit Colansay to walk and explore for the day.
Blue skies and calm seas,resulted in only a 50 minute crossing from Easdale to Scalasaig. With 5 hours ashore to explore and a visit to The Pantry for refreshments, a great day was had by all.

Northern Lighthouse Board
Today saw the Seafari Adventures Cabin RIB Celtic Voyager,taking the engineers from The Northern lighthouse Board (Oban) down the sound of Mull to Grey’s Rock.
With low lying cloud Grey’s Rock was looking grey! With the light repaired we returned back to base at Oban and then onto Easdale.

Moving Day
A busy day moving and launching Seafari boats today at the workshops. Celtic explorer, one of the Seafari Adventure open boats, was launched today to make space in the workshops for the new Seafari Marine Services cabin boat.
The new 11mtr Humber gets a quick wash down before entering the workshops ready for her transformation and custom build.

Islay
Another busy day for Seafari and the cabin RIB Celtic Voyager. Thursday was a trip to Port Askaig on Islay. The engineers from the Northern Lighthouse Board (Oban) needed to get out for repairs to one of the lights in the sound of Jura.The skies were blue and with a fresh SE breeze we set sail out to Islay and back.
